Breast Cancer Awareness Month Contest...

As you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. This is a true time of reflection for me because it reminds me of my Mother.

My Mother passed away in 2003 and she was a Survivor of breast cancer. She had a radical mastectomy on her left side and then 9 years later it came back and she had a radical mastectomy on her right side.

Funny thing is she didn't die of breast cancer...she had a stroke.

In honor of my Mother, I will be giving away two full size (8 oz) bottles of a lotion that I will design specifically for Breast Cancer Awareness month. The lotion will be called "Pink Hope".

All you have to do to enter is go to my website and take the personality test. Come back here and post your personality results plus either a short story/tribute of someone that you know who is a breast cancer Survivor or a suggested combination for the "Pink Hope" fragrance. (or both) Please include an email address!

  • The first bottle will go to the person who posts with the most touching breast cancer Survivor comment.

  • The second bottle will go to the person that posts the winning scent combination for the "Pink Hope" fragrance.

If you would like to submit a scent combination, here are the scents to choose from:

FLORAL: Freesia, Gardenia, Geranium, Jasmine, Juniper, Lemon, Lilac, Lily, Linden Blossom, Lotus Flower, Mimosa, Plumeria, Rose, Violet, Wisteria

FRUITY Coconut, Frangipani, Grapefruit, Green Apple, Guava Fruit, Honeydew Melon, Lime, Mandarin, Naked , Passion Fruit, Peach Blossom, Pear, Pina Colada, Pomegranate, Raspberry, Strawberry, Vanilla

My Mammogram is scheduled for October 30th. The winners will be selected on that day.

Please...don't forget to do your monthly self-exams and if you are of age, schedule your Mammogram today!!!!
Early detection saves lives!

My results was herby. mostly that is right.

I would love to get a Vanilla Lilac lotion. Lilac is so hard to find! Vanilla for comfort and lilac for joy.

My fragrance personality is floral. I don't know anyone personally who is a breast cancer survivor (there was a girl in nursing school I heard share her testimony in one of our classes) so here is my scent combo:

Vanilla Strawberry Peach Blossom (I actually really love the fruity scents)

Mine came up as herby. The ingredients for this mixture would fit me to a tee.

My mother is a breast cancer survivor of 27 years and counting.

You can read all about her in this post

I got 29% fruity..and that is TOTALLY me!!! I love those scents...but i would love to have something that is fruity and a floral combination!! :) I think that would be fantastic!

I have a friend who is fighting breast cancer right now..and doing well with it. I send prayers out to all those dealing with this or who have lost loved ones from breast cancer.

I am sorry to hear about your mom. It is great that you are showing tribute to her in these ways.

Here are my results:
Floral 27%
Fruity 33%
Herby 25%
Leafy 7%
Spicy 7%
Woodsy 0%

I do love the fruity and the floral. I like a little in each... I would pick this combo for the name: Pink Hope~~~>Strawberry (for the pink part) and Water Lily (for the Hope- since it is from the "Leafy" category: leaf= growth/life) Life is hope.
One of my favorite scents is coconut
I have an aunt who is a breast cancer survivor! She is an amazing woman...and she has a lot of strength with going through that. It took a big toll on her body, though. I would love to give her this if I won. For her victory...she would be pampered with scents of love.

I have you posted on my blog:

I am glad to read this Blog- The very name cancer is scary to us. Since no cure for this, any one will fear. Even me too. This is a nice blog- But I am looking for more updates with more information. Cancer can make people invalid. I know that it can kill your health but never the will. Your heart will beat for the untold melody of life. I have found an info guide that deals with the Cure of Cancer through holistic treatment. It may be good if you really need a cure to save life. Yu can have that free guide from following URL http://www.helpcure.com/cancer
I request all to gather/ find more and better information about cancers and create blogs as well as blog posts to make us know further. You know many of us need better information. Even me too.
Have a nice day
